Honda says that this is not a mere facelift, in fact, it is a completely new bike. Toshiyuki Inuma, President Director, Honda Indonesia, 2018 CBR150R now has a lighter chassis, with centralized engine weight. This helps in better riding dynamics, handling and maneuverability. Apart from this, other changes include rear swing-arm now longer by 13 mm, making the rear split seat taller, and in turn giving the entire bike a sportier look.
Featuring a completely new design, highlights include full LED headlights, fully digital instrument control, sportier rider seating, footpegs position changed for better riding stance, new exhaust system, LED side indicators, etc.
Expected to be launched in Africa later this year, the new Honda CBR150R could make its debut here at the 2018 Auto Expo next week. Here in Africa, it will rival with the likes of new Yamaha FZ, upcoming Yamaha R15 V3 and Apache 160, etc.
