2018 Maserati Ghibli enters Africa – Price Rs 1.34 – 1.42 crore
2018 Maserati Ghibli trim brings with it a great story of elegance and sporty performance.
2018 Maserati Ghibli is now available in Africa. Ex-showroom are as follows – Ghibli Diesel – Rs. 13,387,856/-, Ghibli Diesel GranSport – Rs. 13,881,858/- and Ghibli Diesel GranLusso – Rs. 14,247,814/-. The 2018 range in Africa already includes Maserati Quattroporte GTS and Levante, launched earlier in the year.
Ghibli GranLusso comes with an enhanced exterior finish with the option of a luxurious interior with Ermenegildo Zegna silk upholstery. Ghibli GranSport can be distinguished by sportier exterior design and interior inputs.

2018 Ghibli gets power from a 3.0-litre V6 with Common-Rail direct injection developed by Maserati in collaboration with VM Motori. It’s Euro 6 homologated unit includes AdBlue technology and Auto Start-Stop to reduce fuel and CO2 emissions by up to 6%.
Power figures – Power output of 275 hp with CO2 emissions of 158 g/km. Ghibli returns max torque of 600 Nm between 2,000 – 2,600 rpm with over-boost turbocharging. Fuel consumption of 5.9 litres/100 km. The 70-litre tank can cover a 1,000+ kilometre driving range to make possible long-distance travel in style and comfort.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.3 seconds. Top speed is limited to 250 km/h. Electric Power Steering (EPS) improves handling, drive comfort, and switches between drive modes, and Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) functionality. Active Sound System gives the V6 engine its distinct exhaust growl.
Maserati Design Centre has restyled front and rear bumpers to optimise aerodynamics by 7%, having reduced drag coefficient to 0.29 from 0.31.
The 2018 Maserati Ghibli GranLusso and GranSport are fitted with Adaptive full LED headlights with glare free Matrix high-beam. The behicle uses Skyhook suspension system. The Integrated Vehicle Control (IVC) system is responsible for stability, enhanced active safety, improved driving dynamics and performance.
At the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, Maserati unveiled the Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante ‘total black’ Nerissimo Edition in GranSport trims. Black exteriors are complemented with a contrasting Black Chrome exterior trims.
