8000 units of Maruti Swift DZire facelift spied inside plant, all colours revealed
The much awaited Maruti DZire facelift has entered production and about 8000+ units are parked inside the company plant in Manesar. New Maruti Swift DZire facelift spied inside plant, reveals the updates it is set to receive.
The newwill be seen with new chrome grille, new headlamp design with dark inserts and a redesigned bumper with fog lamp assembly. Sitting on new 10 spoke alloy wheels, changes will also include keyless entry (see button on door handle). Interiors will also be updated with a state of the art infotainment system with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, six speaker sound system and multi function steering wheel. ORVMs will be both electronically adjustable and foldable.
Maruti Swift DZire facelift spied here, continues to be powered by same engine specifications as seen on current version. These will include a 1.2 liter K Series petrol mated to a four speed automatic and five speed manual, and 1.3 liter multijet diesel engine mated to a 5 speed manual. However on the facelifted model, fuel efficiency will be enhanced by 10 percent, as was seen on the Swift facelift last year.
Spied in seven exterior colours, the 2015 Maruti Swift DZire will come in to compete against Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent and Tata Zest besides the soon to be launched 2015 Ford Figo compact sedan in a price range of INR 5-8 lakhs.
