Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been modified into a Royal Enfield Himalayan

Bajaj Pulsar is priced at INR 80,000, while the Himalayan is double, at INR 1.6 lakhs.

When Royal Enfield Himalayan was launched last year, it immediately zoomed in status causing many buyers to opt for this adventure bike which was priced at around INR 1.6 lakhs.

It was a Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG2 with a price tag of INR 80,000 that was transformed into a Himalayan look alike with some modifications. These changes include a fuel tank which has been painted white and headlamp unit being replaced by that of a Himalayan with LED lights incorporated into its design.

The Bajaj Pulsar now sports a tank protector/jerry can holder and it also receives off road front mud guard. Special offroad tyres with spoke wheels are fitted to the front and rear and seat cover too resembles that seen on the Himalayan.

To the rear, Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG2 receives iron rack for luggage, two saddle bags on either sides for long distance travel, a new tail lamp set up and front and rear shock absorbers along with disk brakes. All these modifications take the Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG2 to a new level of an adventure bike set to tackle the rough and rugged terrain.

All these modifications were carried out at a fraction of the cost as compared to the price at which the Royal Enfield Himalayan sells at. However, despite its design changes, there is no medications done to the engine and the Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG2 continues to be powered by a 13 bhp single cylinder engine as against the Himalayan which receives a 24.5 bhp single cylinder engine.
