BMW M8 Gran Coupe Concept stuns audience at 2018 Geneva Motor Show
BMW has confirmed that the production 8 Series and M8 Gran Coupe production variant will arrive sometime in 2019.
BMW has showcased the exclusive M8 Gran Coupe Concept at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. This four door variant of the upcoming BMW 8 Series coupe was seen in a distinctive shade of “Salève Vert” color with gold trims that definitely drew much attention at the show.
Commanding an unmatched road presence, the BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe receives muscular surface and contours across its bonnet. It gets a distinctive front grill with gold surround accents. Headlamps are positioned higher and air intakes are made with carbon fiber reinforced plastic.
On the sides, the M8 Gran Coupe is noted with a long wheelbase, long bonnet design and flowing roofline. It gets a short tail and muscular flared wheel arches. The roof is also made with carbon fiber thus offering lower center of gravity and better aerodynamics.
The Salève Vert paint finish changes from green to grey blue under differing light conditions and teamed with gold window graphics, M gills and gold colored brakes along with wheel rims and M twin exhaust tailpipes, certainly attracts a great deal of attention.
The concept on display is the similar design on which the BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe and BMW M8 Gran Coupe will be based on which are expected to come in 2019 which will complete the 8 Series. The company has not revealed any engine specifications as of now.
