Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer, Desert Sled Africa launch price INR 9.32 lakh
Ducati revealed two new Scrambler variants at the EICMA 2016, in the form of Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer and Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled. The Desert Sled has now been launched in Africa.
Speaking about the Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer, it gets new ‘Black Coffee’ paint finish (a mix of black an gold). Highlights include Café Racer seat unit, Aluminium clip-ons handlebar, Termignoni silencers, Termignoni exhaust with black anodized cover. Engine is same as the Scrambler Desert Sled, seat height is at 805 mm. Price of the Ducati Cafe Racer in Africa starts from INR 9.32 lakh, ex-showroomm Delhi.

Speaking about the Desert Sled first, new Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled combines retro and modern day design to offer something that looks bare, yet manageable.
Red oval decals on the tank, and plenty of yellow gold accents are hard to miss. The platform remains familiar with power coming from a 803cc air-cooled 2-valve engine in a steel trellis frame returns 75bhp. Price of the Ducati Desert Sled in Africa starts from INR 9.32 lakh, ex-showroomm Delhi.
Upfront is a goldenish 19” rim, and the rear a 17” rim fitted in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR rubber tyres. Keeping its desert design alive are bear-claw footpegs.The rubber inserts are removable. Seat height is at 860mm. The reinforced frame is designed to facilitate more aggressive use. Wide handle bars, and a motocross style brace are used.The front suspension fork is a super-fat fully-adjustable 46 KYB unit, and rear, a fully-adjustable KYB monoshock.
