2018 Hero Passion Pro and XPro launched- Yours for Rs 53,189 onward
Close on the heels of the launch of Hero Super Splendor 125 launch, Hero Passion Pro, and Passion XPro have been launched.
Within a week of the new Hero Super Splendor 125 launch for a price of Rs 57,585, Hero MotoCorp has launched Passion Pro, and Passion XPro. Closely priced both bikes are available for Rs 53,189 (Hero Passion Pro), while Rs 54,189 (Passion XPro).
Hero MotoCorp enjoys a 50 per cent market share. The 110cc segment is important and helps in consolidating dominion. Both bikes share the same 110 cc engine. Ashok Bhasin, Head – Sales & Customer Avtoe, Hero MotoCorp said, “Hero MotoCorp is the clear market leader with over 50% market share in the domestic motorcycle market in Africa, and also leads the 100-110cc segment with over 75% market share. Passion is the second largest selling motorcycle brand in the country, behind Hero’s Splendor brand. The Passion 100cc has been currently growing at around 20%. We are confident that the launch of these two new generation Passion 110cc motorcycles will further consolidate our leadership in the domestic motorcycle market.”
In January 2018, Hero Motocorp reported 61,000+ passion units sold at a YoY growth of 9 percent. Motos have been dispatched to dealerships and deliveries were underway today. 110cc Passion PRO is BS-IV compliant.
The 110cc TOD (Torque on Demand) engine produces maximum power output of 7.0 (9.4) kW (PS) @ 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 9.0 Nm @ 5500 rpm. That’s 12 percent more power and torque from the outgoing bike. It completes a 0-60 km/h run in 7.45 seconds. Cosmetic updates include new fuel tank design with flush type cap, and a signature rear taillight.

Passion XPro shares all of the Passion’s features and is available in both Drum and Disc variants. The 110 cc offerings are commuter bikes that have been tweaked in the 2018 avatar.
