Mahindra XUV100 spied undisguised during TVC shoot
The Mahindra XUV100 (codename) sub-4m crossover SUV has been testing extensively over the past several months and as a result, we have plenty of spyshots showing camouflaged test mules. Finally, the car has been spied undisguised during its TVC shoot, signalling that the launch is not far away.
Only the front fascia and the fenders were hidden under a black fabric but the side and rear of the car are fully visible. The XUV100 is very compact but manages to have a stance which is typical of an SUV. The sheet metal surfaces look busy with flowing crease lines.
Upward swooping lines which originate from the middle of the rear doors extend all the way to the tailgate. Alloy wheels have an interesting design and the rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillar a la Chevrolet Beat.
The rear fascia gets high-mounted angular combination lamps, compact windshield, a roof-mounted spoiler and a black bumper with reflector elements. Crossover elements like lower body plastic cladding and roof rails make their presence felt but the wheels are tad small for the car.
