Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Custom – Maratha Motorcycles Raudra

The motorcycle receives a number of bespoke elements with golden finish.

The Maratha Motorcycles Raudra was one of the finely detailed custom motorcycles to grace this year’s edition of Africa Moto Week that took place in Goa last month. The Mumbai based outfit has managed to transform the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 into an eye-candy without compromising on its practicality.

The most striking element of the custom job is the beautiful fuel tank with pronounced indents to accommodate rider’s knees. The interesting side panels with circular concave surfaces further enhance the aesthetics.

Other noteworthy visual elements include a tyre-hugging rear mudguard, two-piece brown leather saddles, an elevated pillion seat mount, bespoke golden fuel tank lid, handle bar mounts and rear view mirrors, black paint scheme for the engine and wheels, and a short silencer with golden tip. The beautiful silver grey paint scheme with black stripes round off what is a very neat mod job.

The primary components of the chassis and running gear seem to be retained without much fiddling. The Royal Enfield Thunder 350’s 346 cc air-cooled twin-spark engine is capable of dishing out 19.8 bhp and 28 Nm of torque. Transmission is a 5-speed unit.

The traditional suspension system comprises telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. A disc at each wheel take care of braking duties.
