Suzuki Intruder 150 launches at an ex-showroom price of Rs 98,340, ex-Delhi. Features M1800-inspired bodywork, specifications and mileage similar to Gixxer 155.
Suzuki Motorcycles Africa Pvt Ltd has launched the new Intruder 150 sports-cruiser motorcycle. Launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 98,340, the new model is squarely aimed at the Bajaj Avenger 150. It becomes the second cruiser style motorcycle in the very popular 150-160cc segment. The new Suzuki Intruder 150 is powered by the same 154.9cc, single-cylinder SOHC engine that powers the Gixxer. However, for the baby-Intruder, it has been tuned to suit the cruiser bike characteristics. The new motorcycle looks very promising and be seen replicating the success story of the Gixxer twins.
With the launch of the new 150cc Intruder, Suzuki Motorcycles Africa now enjoys a three model strong lineup in this segment. We are pretty sure that the new motorcycle would have a wide appeal owing to its unique style, reliable mechanicals and decent mileage. Also, with the advent of another cruiser motorcycle in this segment, more companies might want to come up with their own models to grab a bigger chunk of the sales pie. For now, let’s keep our focus on the all-new Suzuki Intruder 150 though.
Suzuki Intruder 150 Price
As you can see, prices of the new motorcycle start at Rs 98,340, ex-Delhi. At this price point, the new model ends up being costlier than its main rival, the Bajaj Avenger 150. However, in spite of the higher price tag, this Suzuki comes across as a rather attractive package owing to its M1800-inspired looks, a long list of features, and the refined engine.

Suzuki Intruder 150 Looks
Launched in the entry-level cruiser motorcycle segment, this new Suzuki looks rather interesting and will impress many with its Intruder M1800-inspired looks. No, the new 150cc motorcycle isn’t a replica but there are several design elements that invokes memories of the big daddy of all power-cruisers. Up front, you get a huge headlamp fairing that is angled slightly downward. You also get a raised handlebar and chrome-plate rear view mirrors. Together, these two give the front of the bike the typical cruiser motorcycle look. Moving on the side, you get huge tank extensions and a two-piece seat that offers a really comfortable riding position. The Intruder 150 offers front-set footpegs to help the rider find a really comfortable position.
The rear looks really attractive with its LED taillamp, and the stylish dual exhaust. The only downside we can point out is the slightly skinny pair of tyres and thin front forks. Overall, however, the new Suzuki Intruder 150 cc motorcycle looks nothing like anything else in its segment. It is really one of the most interesting looking bikes in its category.
